The 2017 California State Yo-Yo Contest will be held on Saturday, April 15th at Jack London Square in Alameda, California.
Join us for seeking out the top competitors in the Golden State.
It would have been nice for the contest organizers to consider that Good Friday and Easter are holy days for many and not drop a yo yo contest between those days.
It is unfortunate that the competition is close to the religious days/holiday. However, on the other hand there are many people that do not celebrate. Not everything at times can be accommodated as we want.
The organizers and those attending from out of the Bay Area probably aren’t Christians since if they were they probably would want to be home with their families celebrating the most important Christian day.

Not scheduled out yet. Will be listed on the main page of the site when it is confirmed though.
