The length of music for each freestyle for the 2025  UYYC contest is 1 minute for amateur sport division, 2 minutes for Kendama and 2 minutes for the 1A and X divisions. If you do not have your music edited to length, that is OK…..but your song will end abruptly at the 1:00 or 2:00 minute mark. There will be no fade down of the music. Music should not contain any profanities or event may automatically disqualify the competitor and cut off the music if deemed inappropriate. Please check the standards set for selecting your music on the National YoYo Contest website or feel free to ask us to review your music. Keep in mind you will not be able to upload music or give us music in person at the venue. Instead for all who register at the contest we have a pre-selected playlist that the production team of the museum will randomly select. For all who register day of the contest please allow a little extra time to get through the line and our staff will get you signed up.

If you registered online we still need you to check in at the registration table when you arrive to get your contest badge and so that we know that you are on-site and ready to compete.

If you miss the on-line deadline you may still register In person at the event on Friday night June 6 from 6pm-10pm at the City Foundry or Saturday morning at the Missouri History Museum from 9:30am – 10:30am.
