Indy States Itinerary

The Indy State Yoyo Contest will occur on Saturday, October 4th, 2025
at the Irving Theater: 5505 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46219

Doors officially open at 9am. Freestyles will continue until approximately 11:45am, followed by a 1-hour lunch break.
Visit any of the Official Indy States Sponsors, all within a 5-minute walk.

Smash Burger

Connected to the Irving Theater on the East side. Known for their crispy smash technique and bold flavor combos.

• Recommended: Original Smash Double Burger + Wango Tango IPA – a fruity, punchy IPA brewed in Terre Haute.
• Try: Spicy Jalapeño Baja Burger + Daredevil Liftoff IPA to keep the heat alive.

Jockamo’s Upper Crust Pizza

A locally owned pizza spot that supports Indiana artists. Pairings:

• Light beers with most pizzas
• Ales with meat-heavy or caramelized onion pizzas
• White wine with white sauce veggie or chicken pizzas
• Red wine with Margherita or mushroom pizzas

Recommendations:

• BBQ Chicken Pizza + Oaken Barrel Razz Wheat: Light, fruity, smooth pairing.
• Spicy Italian Sausage + Giardiniera Pizza + Daredevil Liftoff IPA: Heat, tang, and citrus hops.
• Pineapple Jalapeño Pizza + Wango Tango IPA: Sweet, spicy, and tropical flavor combo.

Chicago Beef and Dog

Located just across the street heading west. Owner Dave brings authentic Chicago dogs straight from the source every weekend.

Sleepy Hollow Deli

A great grab-and-go sandwich spot with a Jack’s Donuts added in. Surprisingly great combo.

The Med

A cozy, family-owned Mediterranean restaurant offering flavors from Greece, Lebanon, and beyond. Rooted in the community with soulful hospitality.
