The Futures contest will be judged in accordance with all current NYYL and IYYF freestyle standards. Contest is for the 1A style of play only.

Age groups: 10 and under, 12 and under, 14 and under, 16 and under, 18 and under, and 19 and over masters.

All competitors will perform a 1-minute preliminary freestyle. The top 3 to 5 competitors in each age group will advance to a 2-minute final depending on the total competitor counts.

Competitor check-in at the event will open at 10am, with competition starting at 11am.

Contest venue is the Chico City Plaza which is in the middle of downtown Chico. Between 4th and 5th Street and between Main and Broadway.
