We would like to suggest all of our attendees that when they arrive in St. Louis to go to the City Foundry after checking in at their hotel or Airbnb. City Foundry is centrally located and perfect for families to meet-up the night before from 6-10pm and grab drinks, food, shop, and meet players and judges before the championships on Saturday! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We will have beginner, intermediate, advanced, and master level Kendama ladder cards to pass out for those wanting to win Kendama prizes; all UYYC judges will be on hand for UYYC Kendama ladders from 6-10pm. United YoYo & Kendama Contest<\/span><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

UYYC 26 will take place at the Missouri History Museum<\/a> inside Forest Park on Saturday, June 6, 2026. Contests to include 1A and X Divisions, O<\/span>ver 40 Division, Sport Division, and Kendama freestyles on National YoYo Day<\/strong><\/span>!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

MUSIC<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The length of music for each freestyle for the 2026  UYYC contest is 1 minute for all amateur sport divisions and the Over 40 division; 2 minutes for Kendama <\/span>freestyles, and 2 minutes for the 1A and X championship divisions. If you do not have your music edited to length, that is OK…..but your song will end abruptly at the 1:00 or 2:00 minute mark. There will be no fade down of the music. Music should not contain any profanities or event may automatically disqualify the competitor and cut off the music if deemed inappropriate. Please check the standards set for selecting your music on the National YoYo Contest<\/span><\/a> website or feel free to ask us to review your music. <\/span>For all kendama and yoyo players performing a freestyle on stage please register and upload your music online from April 1st – June 1st. Keep in mind you will not be able to upload music or give us music in person at the venue. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Instead for all who miss the online registration deadline of June 1, we have a pre-selected playlist that we will give to the production team of the museum that the sound engineers will randomly select from. In addition for all who wait to register day of the contest please be here promptly at 9:30am so we can get your name added to the contest order quickly; allowing you a little extra time to get through the line so our staff can get you signed up<\/span>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you registered online we still need you to check in at the registration table when you arrive to get your contest badge and so that we know that you are on-site and ready to compete.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you miss the on-line deadline you may still register In person at the event Saturday morning at the Missouri History Museum from 9:30am – 10:15am. <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
