The guidelines for players that can compete at the National YoYo Contest are as follows…for all state contests the top 20% of players in divisions 1A-5A automatically qualify for Nationals; as long as each division has a minimum of 5 competitors then a seed from corresponding divisions are sent to Nationals.)

As a contestant at UYYC if you win any of the following titles you will automatically be entered into the Finals at the Mid-West Regional YoYo Championships.
•Kansas State 1A and or Open 2023 Champion
•Missouri State 1A and or Open 2023 Champion
