The Bay Area Classic is known as one of the premier yo-yo contests in the world. Founded by Dave Bazan in 1998, the BAC is known for drawing top talent from around the world each May to the San Francisco Bay Area to compete for the title of coveted crown of BAC Champion.
The Bay Area Classic Yo-Yo Contest is a regional yo-yo contest for the Pacific Region of the National Yo-Yo League (NYYL). Winners will qualify for this year’s National Yo-Yo Contest.
For 2012, the Bay Area Classic will be featuring all five divisions of freestyle: 1A, 2A, 3A, 4A and 5A.

The 2012 Triple Crown of YoYo, will take place on Saturday, July 28th from 10 AM until 4 PM in Millennium Park, at Wrigley Square.
Some of the finest competitors in the country will gather in Chicago to test their skill, swap tricks, pick up the latest gear, and compete for more than $5,000 in cash and prizes from national and local sponsors such as Rotofugi, YoYo Expert, Vannen Watches, Duncan Toys, and more!
From 10 am until 4 pm, Millennium Park will host this yearʼs hopefuls as they compete for the title of Triple Crown Champion and the $1,000 grand prize for the top winner in each of three freestyle divisions: Standard, Two-Handed, and Aerial!
All are welcome to attend, and professional yo-yo players will be on-hand to teach new players plenty of new tricks, for anyone wishing to learn the exciting art of yo-yo play! Admission to the contest is free for spectators, and there will be a dedicated training area where anyone can buy or borrow a yo-yo and learn to play for free!
The Triple Crown of YoYo is organized by National Yo-Yo Masters Andre Boulay and Steve Brown, and Save Deth co-founder Seth Peterson. Professional yo-yo demonstrators WILL be available the week before the event for media appearances.
